Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer to ensure our operations comply with environmental regulations and to develop strategies for minimizing our environmental footprint. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing environmental risks, implementing environmental management systems, and promoting sustainability within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assess environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
– Implement and maintain environmental management systems (EMS) to ensure compliance with regulations.
– Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics.
– Develop and implement plans for waste reduction, pollution prevention, and conservation.
– Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into decision-making.
– Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
– Promote a culture of sustainability within the organization.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
– 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering, preferably in the energy or manufacturing sector.
– Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., EPA, OSHA).
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Good communication and teamwork skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Desired Skills:
– Experience with environmental management software and tools (e.g., ISO 14001).
– Knowledge of sustainability principles and practices.
– Familiarity with environmental auditing and assessment techniques.
– Certification in environmental engineering or a related field (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional).
